In the heart of Aba, Abia State, one woman has been shaping the future of cake artistry for nearly two decades. Ngozi Obi-Chukwuma, the creative director of Heles Cakes and Events, is not only a celebrated cake artist but also a mentor, wife, and proud mother of five.
A graduate of Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT) with a degree in Civil Engineering, Ngozi chose to apply her precision, discipline, and creativity in an unexpected field – baking. What started as a passion soon became a lifelong mission to create joy through cakes.
For over 18 years, Ngozi has been putting smiles on the faces of patrons across Aba and beyond with her delicious, artfully crafted cakes. From weddings to birthdays and corporate events, her bakery has become synonymous with excellence and reliability.
Beyond her own creations, Ngozi has a passion for training and mentorship. Over the years, she has trained more than 500 cake artists within and outside Nigeria, many of whom now run successful businesses of their own. Her dedication to knowledge-sharing has made her a respected figure in the baking industry, inspiring others to chase their dreams with resilience and skill.
